Our Leadership Team
With a focus on campaign, product, and operational strategy, David runs the business team at Digiday Media, including sales, client services, and Custom. He brings his experience building digital-first initiatives to the company, helping to guide both internal and client projects through the landscape’s many twists and turns to ensure success.
Matt is an aesthete at heart who helps brands turn general objectives into meaningful missions. With a diverse background in fashion, marketing and media, he believes in the power of brands to inspire and effect change. When he isn’t working, he’s performing on stage, traveling or exercising (in some way, shape or form).
Ivy designs, creates, and imagines at the intersection of digital, motion and print. Her primary objective is to deliver solutions that are powerful and meaningful yet aesthetically beautiful and sophisticated. She is passionate about interaction design, user experience, branding and everything visual.
David Teich is Custom’s senior editor. An NYU journalism grad, he covered digital media for Cynopsis, and wrote about indie film for IndieNYC.com. Unrelated: The North American Scrabble Players Association ranks him as the 370th best tournament player in North America. If you want to know all nine of the seven-letter anagrams for the tiles A-N-T-I-E-R-S, just ask him.
Samantha Dupler is Custom's copywriter. With past experience at Condé Nast and The Foundry at Time Inc., she's thrilled to bring her editorial and content marketing skills to the Custom team. When she's not at her laptop, you'll find Samantha at her microphone — she's also a professional voice actress (credited as Ivy) who has appeared in several video games and commercials, even voicing a Marvel superhero in a mobile game.
Veronica is the Digital Operations Manager at Digiday. She previously worked for Don Jagoda Associates, where she handled the execution of sales promotions for a variety of global companies such as Unilever, Constellation Brands and Weight Watchers. She loves going to concerts and trying new brunch spots.
Michael Rivas is Custom’s Performance Coordinator. His main responsibilities include directing traffic to sponsored content on all Digiday Media platforms — Modern Retail, Glossy and Digiday. Outside of work, Michael identifies as a Martial Artist, practicing in the art of Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Uri Charles is the Project Coordinator for Custom at Digiday. From day to day, he keeps the steady flow of projects on track and ensures that they're delivered on time to happy clients. Prior to joining Digiday, he was a freelance developer, making flashy websites all over town. Outside of work, he spends his time learning new programming languages, gardening and knitting.
